Cancer is unfortunately a very common disease that people die from today. Cancer patients have been using cannabis for years to help ease the side effects of chemotherapy.
In recent years, the non-psychoactive cannabinoid CBD has been increasingly used, which, according to the latest research, may even help against cancer itself. The research is only done on animals, but the results are promising.
Article content:
- Stopping the growth of tumors
Animal and cell studies show that CBD hemp is able to slow tumor growth or stop it altogether. It even eliminates cancer cells and prevents their spread in the body. No negative side effects.
- Improving the effects of chemotherapy
CBD has been shown to improve the effects of chemotherapy. Tests on mice proved that CBD extended the life of sick mice by three weeks.
- Treatment of various types of cancer
Recently, so-called preclinical studies have been carried out, where it has been shown that cannabidiol (CBD) is effective in the treatment of various types of cancer (liver cancer, breast cancer, leukemia, etc.).
CBD helps suppress the unpleasant side effects of chemotherapy. Patients use cannabis differently. It is really effective – it relieves stomach upset, increases appetite, acts against pain, improves mood and also relaxes the body and mind. Cannabis, which contains THC, has similar effects, but here the disadvantage is that THC is psychoactive. Which may not suit everyone. Not to mention that THC is not legal in the Czech Republic. In contrast, CBD is 100% legal and has a medicinal effect only.
There are many ways to use cannabis. The least healthy is smoking, which has carcinogenic properties and is definitely not good for overall health. Much more suitable is vaporization, or hemp CBD oils, ointments, tinctures or eating supplements that are enriched with medical cannabis (candies, capsules, etc.). As for the dosage, the advantage is that CBD cannot be overdosed. However, it is still best if you consult the seller of CBD oils or other products about the dosage.

Cannabis, and especially CBD, is on the rise today. Studies are underway all over the world, and so far everything points to the fact that cannabis is really a treasure that can be used for treatment. Not only to counteract the side effects of chemotherapy, but also against epilepsy, depression, anxiety, nausea and possibly cancer itself. Research is still ongoing.
However, since cannabis is subject to many prohibitions all over the world, studies are mostly carried out on experimental mice or only in laboratories. In countries where cannabis is legalized, it is also being tested on humans. Until the full series of clinical trials are completed, patients can only trust the stories of other people, which the Internet is full of.
